（旧 北広島団地商店街振興会）
昭和４７年から北海道における理想的なニュータウンを目指し、造成された北広島団地内で営業する商店や企業により、昭和５２年に北広島団地商店街振興会として発足。
以来、様々な事業を通じて地域に根ざした組織として活動を続けております。
平成３０年７月に、北広島団地の愛称が”さんぽまち”になったのを受け、名称を「北広島さんぽまち商店会」と改称致しました
現在、令和5年より「日本エスコン」がＪＲ北広島駅前にホテルと商業施設を含む複合ビルを建設中であり令和7年春にオープン予定です。
更には近くにマンションを建設するなど駅前再開発が現在進められております。
令和5年3月に北海道日本ハムファイターズの新球場がオープンし、北広島市への注目度が一気に高まりをみせ様々な面でその影響が感じられております。
Established in 1977 as the Kitahiroshima Danchi Shopping Street Promotion Association by the stores and businesses operating in the Kitahiroshima Danchi, which was built since 1972 with the aim of creating an ideal new town in Hokkaido.
Since then, it has continued to operate as a community-based organization through various projects.
In July 2008, the name was changed to "Kitahiroshima Sanpomachi Shopping Association" in response to the nickname of Kitahiroshima Danchi as "Sanpomachi.
Currently, ES-CON Japan is constructing a complex building including a hotel and commercial facilities in front of JR Kitahiroshima Station, which is scheduled to open in the spring of 2025.
In addition, redevelopment of the area in front of the station is currently underway, including the construction of condominiums nearby.
The opening of the new baseball stadium of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters in March 2023 has attracted a great deal of attention to Kitahiroshima City, and its influence can be felt in various aspects.
